How does the AI scanner work?
Take a photo of any receipt and our AI vision service extracts the merchant, date, total, tax, and category in seconds. The image is processed in transit and is not stored on our servers. Everything else stays on your device.
How many AI scans do I get for free?
Five AI scans per month on the free tier. You can also enter receipts manually with no limit. Upgrade to ZeroType Pro for $1.99 (one-time) to unlock unlimited AI scans, forever.
I bought Pro on another device. How do I restore?
Open Profile (Settings) and tap “Restore purchase”. As long as you’re signed into the same Apple ID, your Pro unlock is restored automatically.
Is my data private?
Yes. Receipts and expense data live only on your device. We don’t have user accounts, don’t track you across apps, and don’t show ads. Read the full privacy policy.
How do I export my receipts?
Profile (Settings) → Data → Export all receipts. Choose PDF or CSV format and share it directly with your accountant via email or AirDrop.
Will my receipts sync across devices?
Not in v1.0. Receipts stay on the device you scanned them with. iCloud-based sync is on our roadmap.
